Join us for the next Future Fraud Professionals event run in collaboration with the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe’s (COBCOE) Young Professionals Network and Young Fraud Lawyers Association (YFLA)
This free event is open to members and guests alike. A panel of guest speakers will examine how some businesses are doing things differently by doing away with cash to be more nimble, responsive, secure and innovative. Topics will include fraud and financial crime, innovative technology and the opportunities that tomorrows world will provide for young professionals.
Sandip Patel QC, Furnival Chambers will explore the impact of fraud and financial crime to businesses and the legal implications of a cashless society.
Natasha Vernier, Monzo will provide a timely update on challenger banks and how they are doing things differently. This will touch upon the risks and opportunities for both business and the consumer.
Kristen Mulder, GoFundMe will provide an overview of crowdfunding and GoFundMe’ s role within an increasingly cashless society. This will include the growing opportunities for new professionals.
Karen Kerrigan, Seedrs will provide an brief introduction to Seedrs and how they mitigate financial risks to business and the consumer. This will also touch upon what tomorrow’s world will look like.
This event will be chaired by Phillip Hagon, trustee director, Fraud Advisory Panel.
Future Fraud Professionals is a new community established by the Fraud Advisory Panel for new professionals with five or less years experience looking to develop their skills in the counter-fraud sector, as well as anyone looking to enter into an anti-fraud career.
